We are extremely proud to announce the General Availability of Integra 1.0, the only IT automation and orchestration platform that we believe you'll ever need. The fine lines between day and night, weekday and weekend, holiday and not, have been blurred into one contiguous work-only landscape that has led us to this point. The simplicity we set out to accomplish with Integra is only eclipsed by the power the platform provides. Today's release encompasses 21 providers, a vCenter plugin, a mobile self-service portal, access via the CLI, a REST API, SDKs in 7 languages and a judo installer that will leave you in awe. Just as important as all this is the pricing and support structure we have set in place; we wanted it to be easy to understand what you're paying for and what you are getting in return, and our pricing structure reflects that.

You can download it by hand or visit the user guide for step by step instructions on how to run the judo installer.  Visit the How To page for a quick index to different posts on the site.

Version 1.0 includes support for:

With Integra's cloud providers you can upload and download data directly from your workflows.
  • Azure
  • S3
  • Glacier

The database providers allow you to quiesce / unquiesce the applications as it relates to protecting your data.  You may also get file inventories and perform other actions on those databases via Integra.
  • Oracle
  • MySQL
  • Postgres
  • DB2
  • MaxDB
  • Sybase

Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)

Integra's VSS requester is a unique and extremely powerful provider.  You can leverage Windows own VSS service for taking snapshots of your enterprise applications, but if said applications reside on a storage array that has a hardware VSS provider then it will be the storage array taking a storage snapshot to protect your data.
  • Exchange
  • SQL Server
  • Sharepoint

The hypervisor providers allow you to perform various operations, such as cloning VMs, deleting VMs, taking snapshots, etc.
  • vSphere
  • XenServer
  • KVM
  • RHEV

Integra has native support for storage arrays where you can provision containers, remove them, take snapshots, clone containers, etc.
  • NetApp clustered Data ONTAP
  • NetApp Data ONTAP 7-mode
  • EMC Isilon
  • EMC ViPR (which itself supports Data Domain, Isilon, ScaleIO, VMAX, VNX, VNXe3200, HDS, HP, IBM, Dell, NetApp, LeftHand, Oracle, SolidFire)

The utility or miscellaneous category comprises a set of providers that can perform a disparate set of operations.
  • Archive - brings policy-based retention actions on the filesystem
  • Notification - sends emails, has support for attachments
  • Plugin - this provider allows the user to execute any command on the guest OS
  • SmartCharts - which can be used to chart different aspects of your infrastructure

Integra has a rich roadmap, including adding more providers and expanding the ones that already exist.  A new HTML5 user interface is also in the plans, as is making the mobile platform more robust in terms of features.  We continue to work hard, for you, for our customers.  If you know us here at Emitrom, you know that we are always an email or a call away.

Cheers to you, because without your input Integra would not be where it is today.  For that, we collectively say Thank You.
